01 — How I got here
I started before I knew what GHL was.
Four years ago, I was a freelancer on Upwork looking for the next project. A client asked if I could help with something called GoHighLevel — they needed workflows built, funnels set up, and the whole thing connected to a calendar. I said yes, then spent the next three weeks figuring out what any of those words meant.
That first project turned into a second. The second turned into a third. Within a year I had earned Top Rated status on Upwork and was getting more GHL work than I could handle alone. I started hiring developers — not as contractors, but as a real team. People who could go deep on the platform instead of treating every project like a one-off.
Today I run HL Assistly, a GHL virtual assistant and automation agency I’ve been operating successfully for over two years, with a team of 15+ developers serving 75+ agency clients worldwide. Most clients don’t know I’m based in Pakistan until they ask — what they know is that the work ships, the workflows hold up, and the snapshots actually work in their accounts on day one.

02 — Why this site exists
Most GHL content is written by people who don’t use GHL.
After four years of building inside the platform daily, I started noticing something. The articles ranking on Google for “how to do X in GoHighLevel” were almost always wrong in small but expensive ways. UI paths that no longer existed. Settings described from old screenshots. Affiliate-chasing reviews that praised features the writer had clearly never used.
Meanwhile, my own clients and team were re-explaining the same things over and over. The same workflow patterns. The same A2P registration gotchas. The same SaaS Mode pricing decisions. I started writing internal documentation just to stop repeating myself — and realized that documentation was better than 90% of what’s publicly available.
GHL Mentors is that documentation, opened up. Every guide here comes from work my team and I have done in real client accounts. Every snapshot is one we’ve shipped, not theoretical. Every opinion is one I’ve earned the right to have, by doing the work first.
I’m not building a content farm. I’m building the reference library I wish had existed in 2022.

03 — What I run
A portfolio, not a side project.
GHL Mentors is one part of a larger operation. Knowing the full picture matters — because the content here is informed by what I’m building everywhere else.
HL Assistly
GHL virtual assistant and automation services. Running successfully for 2+ years.
GHL Snapshots
Pre-built GHL snapshots for trades industries. Coming soon to GHL Mentors.

04 — How I write here
A few rules I hold the content to.
01
Tested in real accounts
Every UI path, workflow setting, and integration step is verified in a live GHL sub-account before it ships. If I can’t show it working, I don’t publish it.
02
No affiliate-chasing
I’m a GHL affiliate, but I’ll tell you when GHL isn’t the right answer. Some businesses are better off with HubSpot, Keap, or ClickFunnels. I say so when it’s true.
03
Updated when GHL changes
The platform ships updates every few weeks. Every top-traffic article on this site gets reviewed quarterly and updated when something breaks or improves. The “last updated” date is real.
04
Written for operators
This isn’t beginner content for people who’ll never advance. It’s for people running a business on GHL who need answers that respect their time and intelligence.
